April TBR Pile Challenge Wrap Up and Giveaway!

So how is everyone doing on their TBR Pile Challenge? If you haven't signed up yet it's not too late – just click on the botton at the top of this post to go to the sign up page with all the details.

I'm super excited to be the host this month and am looking foward to checking out your reviews, mini-challenges and of course to give one of you a free book!

Here are the books that I managed to cross off my TBR list for the month of April (it was a bit of a slow month for the TBR pile I'm afraid):

And now for the SPRING WORDS mini-challenge & giveaway!

You can still enter the giveaway even if you don't complete the mini-challenge, simply link up your April TBR Challenge reviews to the linky at the bottom of this post. Each unique link up counts as one entry.

Up for grabs 1 (one) book of your choice from The Book Depository up to a total of $15.00CDN

Here is what you need to do:

FIRST grab yourself a basket of books (an Easter basket would work just fine if you have one left lying around!)

SECOND use your favorite books to spell out a spring or Easter themed word. Use the first letter in the title of each book.

THIRD create a TBR Pile Challenge Wrap up post with your spring word and the list of books that you read this month and link it (along with any reviews of those books) to the linky below to be entered. Each linky entry counts as one giveaway entry.

If you complete the mini challenge that is one entry, all reviews for books from your TBR pile that were completed in April also count as entries. (so mini challenge + 4 reviews = 5 linkups/entries)

Easy peasy right? And don't forget to leave a comment!

My word is ~ S P R I N G ~ and here is how I made it

Books used:

S – Spellcaster by Cara Lynn Shultz
P – Peter Nimble and His Fantstic Eyes by Jonathan Auxier
R – Rumors by Anna Godbersen
I – Illuminate by Aimee Agresti
N – Never Cry Werewolf by Heather Davis
G – Graceling by Kristin Cashore

1) You have to sign up for the TBR Pile Challenge (click the button at the top of this post to go to sign up page) and be a book blogger
2) Link up one (or many) of your TBR Pile Challenge book reviews to the linky below. Do not link up a review that you have previously used for this challenge
3) Spread the word!

That's all – oh and this giveaway is open internationally (as long as The Book Depository will ship to your address) you have until May 31, 2012 to link up and enter.

Cute contest! I couldn't use my real books as they are packed because we are moving soon, but I wanted to participate :) I understand if you can't count it
Here is my monthly wrap up post:
    Thanks for hosting!

  • I was a bad reader in April *hangs head in shame.* Not that I didn't read, but I didn't read any of the books on my TBR list. *sigh* May will be a much better month!

April was a pretty slow month for me, and May is even worse! I’m hoping to be able to pick it up a bit but my real life is getting in the way of my bookish one way too much! ;) Good luck for a better May! :D

  • I'm even slower than you :( I'm still trying to catch up with my ARCs so I only managed to read 1.

PS. could you please delete entry #42? I linked up the wrong review :( Sorry! x

    • Bonnie says:

This was a rough week for me! ;) And Thanks for letting me know about #42 :D (I’m going to leave the link up because you are honest, but I wont count it towards the giveaway).

I was taking two challenges this year – one was a YA challenge and was meant to be the "bigger" of the two and then the host ducked out, so I am transferring the reviews to count for this challenge and upping my number of books that I wanted to read for this challenge. I hope that's alright! I made sure to not include ARC or any books published this year.
