It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?
I just love starting my week off with this meme hosted by Sheila at Bookjourney. It is the perfect way to plan my reading for the week and find out what all my favorite blogging friends are reading as well!
I finally finished a few books this past week so I was actually able to start some new ones. There is nothing interesting about posting the same books week after week so I took a few weeks off of this meme. As before I have multiple books on the go: an audio for when I'm walking the halls with baby, an e-book for when I'm holding baby or up at 3am, and an actual real hardcover for those rare moments when I can read baby-free!
This week I'm reading:
Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins I read books 1 and 2 last year but never quite got to Mockinjay. I'm listening to this one on audio – and I just love the narration (I also listened to the first 2 books). This is my "walking the floor with baby read" and before you go thinking I'm crazy to listen to this with kids around, I'm listening on my ipod!
The Secret of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorensen It seems as though "New Adult" contemporary romance is my go-to "2am" read. They are generally easy and fun reads, without complicated world building (read: idea for mommy brain. I just cannot get into books right now with intense back-stories).
Ella and Micha have been best friends since they were kids. But one tragic night shatters their friendship and their lives forever.
Ella used to be a rule-breaker with fiery attitude who wore her heart on her sleeve. But she left everything behind when she went to college and transformed into someone that follows the rules, keeps everything together, and hides all her problems. But now it's summer break and she has nowhere else to go but home.
Ella fears everything she worked so hard to bury might resurface, especially with Micha living right next door. If Micha tries to tempt the old her back, she knows that it will be hard to resist.
Micha is sexy, smart, confident, and can get under Ella’s skin like no one else can. He knows everything about her, including her darkest secrets. And he’s determined to bring his best friend, and the girl he loves back, no matter what it takes.
So what are you reading this week? Link me up!

Would you say Ella & Micha is safe for a pg-13 reader? I'm reading the Rhyn Trilogy by Lizzy Ford.
I'm not that far into it but I don't think so. Goodreads says 17+ so I'd take that on advisement!
I hadn't heard of the Rhyn Trilogy before after looking it up, it looks good. How are you liking it?
I know the feeling when you are stuck in the same old read for weeks. It happened to me this last month and I've kept off the meme as well but I do like to read what others are reading.
Insert squeel here
I just bought the Micha book for my Nook -it had pretty great reviews on Goodreads! Hoping to read it soon myself, its on the shelf to be read soon!!
Happy reading this week! Whatcha readin’ this week @ the Brunette Librarian and Don’t forget to enter to win Philippa Gregory’s “Changeling”
I like Mockingjay but I wasn't the biggest fan of the end of the story on the romantic side of things! Hope you enjoy this, it is a pretty hardcore ending!
I read the Hunger Games trilogy last year but want to reread them again. I was thinking about picking up the audio books for the second time around just to check out the narration of it.
Check out my Monday <a href="http://exploringallgenres.wordpress.com/2013/02/04/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-12/">Post</a>.
I really need to read that Mockingbird series. Every one in the world seems to have read it except me. Have a good week reading. Seems like you have a good schedule with baby fitting in too.
It took me a while to start the Hunger Games but once I did I really enjoyed it. I’m actually reading the Divergent series now (which has been compared to The Hunger Games) and I think I like it more!
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your week!
